In case there were any doubts: Yes, this book is a high ranking entry on my “desperately waiting for and can’t it be out yet please?” list. I usually characterise this series as the delicate dagger that will stab you from behind and lovingly twist the blade before you realise what happened. At least that is how this series sneaked up on me ... and now I’m up to my ears in theories and dark premonitions. I love how Cassie keeps us guessing while offering bits and pieces here and there, but at the same time the possibilities are sometimes hard to think about. (I have a bookmark for these books, too: Don’t hope for anything until the book is over.) A few things in this book in particular that I look forward to are the promised family tree chart, finding out what exactly Tessa is, finding out whom she chooses (heartbreak either way, but I dare Cassie to make Will unhappy), how the heck did Church end up in New York, and anything else, really ...

YES! I can't wait to find out exactly what Tessa is and to see how it all ends for her/Will/Jem. I have a feeling Jem is going to find out about Tessa's feelings for Will, and step aside. Great pick!

I think we've met Jem recently... Hehehehe I have a theory, but we'll have to wait for Clockwork Princess to find out if I'm right. :)

Oh my gosh, I know, I am so excited for this book! And I LOVE the cover. Yay for Cassandra Clare. But what I would really love, is Clare to write something other than shadow hunter, you know?
